Raeden was founded by veterans of the commercial real estate and data center industries and have continued to hire experts in these fields. Kari Schrader is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Raeden. Her expertise and extensive network in real estate are core to the firm’s inception and vision.

Prior to launching Raeden, Kari served as a First Vice President, Investments at CIM Group, a real estate and infrastructure investment firm with $30 billion of assets under management. She led the team that created CIM’s Opportunity Zone Fund and managed over $2 billion in real estate transactions.

Kari holds an A.B. in History from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Jason Green is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Operations Officer of Raeden. He brings 20 years of experience in technology infrastructure, successfully leading companies across the IT and Data Center industries.

Prior to launching Raeden, Jason held senior leadership positions with companies including Gap Inc., RagingWire, FusionStorm, Sentinel Data Centers, and Gexpro. A passionate entrepreneur, Jason co-founded PenData Solutions, Vantage Data Centers, and Element Critical, and has led numerous complex infrastructure projects through his consultancy practice.

Jason earned a B.A. in History from the University of California, Davis, and has achieved technical and compliance-based certifications across all facets of IT, telecom, and data center engineering.

Wesley Klaus is Executive Vice President of Sales and Partnerships. He brings over 20 years of sales experience in the telecommunications and data center industries.

Prior to joining Raeden, Wesley served as Sales Colocation Director at Crown Castle, where he was responsible for national revenue growth within Crown’s extensive data center and points-of-presence portfolio. As part of the Edge leadership team, he helped define Crown’s Edge infrastructure strategy for the convergence of telecommunications and computing assets in a decentralized infrastructure model.

As part of an industry-recognized sales team at Data Foundry, Wesley principally developed the Houston market over a decade and collaborated to deliver significant deals throughout the portfolio, all preceding his transition to Crown Castle.

Wesley takes a customer-centric, solutions-focused approach to sales and partnerships, working closely with clients to deliver timely and efficient solutions that drive growth for all parties involved.

Rick Talavera serves as Vice President of Engineering. He leads the development of the Raeden Marketplace and oversees all aspects of the company’s systems and technology management.

Over the last 15 years, Rick has built and managed engineering teams that develop the most advanced data center automation platforms in the industry. Prior to joining Raeden, he was the Senior Director of Software Engineering at INAP after it acquired SingleHop, where he served as Vice President of Engineering. Earlier in his career he was Chief Executive Officer at eServer Space, growing the Chicago startup into one of the largest privately managed hosting companies focused on high-traffic solutions.

Rick attended DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where he focused on Communications.

Max Victor is Chief of Staff and Head of Real Estate. Max leads the strategy and management of Raeden’s real estate partnerships.

Prior to joining Raeden in 2021, he served as Vice President at BentallGreenOak in Los Angeles, where he led national portfolio-wide telecom initiatives, acquisitions and asset management for the West Coast and Texas.

Max started his career at boutique investment bank Moelis & Co. in New York, where he covered mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring as an industry generalist. After Moelis, he joined real estate private equity firm CIM Group in Los Angeles, focusing on acquisitions.

Max attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he earned a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Psychology.

Tim Piccirilli has 25 years of experience in global technology infrastructure, including construction and management of utility facilities, development of shared wireless telecommunication services, creation and deployment of smart city sensor and real time communication systems, and digital infrastructure development.

Tim founded the first wireless infrastructure product development group at American Tower and also led the creation of their international environmental and energy strategy. He was an early member of the human-focused smart city infrastructure provider, Soofa, working with major cities across the U.S. and Canada. He supported education technology companies at AWS where he enabled the rapid adoption of remote learning during the COVID pandemic, as well as the development of new educational tools including AI/ ML powered virtual tutors, robots for early learning, and school communication platforms. Before joining Raeden, he led the development of Crown Castle’s physical infrastructure offer to support next generation data intensive applications and services.

Before Tim embarked on a career in technology infrastructure, he served as a U.S. Army engineer. Tim holds a B.S. in systems engineering from West Point and an M.B.A from MIT.

Sarah Chappelear serves as Vice President of Accounting and Finance. She leads Finance and Accounting and oversees all aspects of the financial systems and reporting.

Prior to joining Raeden in 2022, Sarah was a controller and partner at a Advantage Tax Strategies Ltd where she provided outsourced controller services for 30 plus clients. She built systems of internal control and financial reporting models for the practice and clients.

Sarah holds a CPA license and a M.S. in accounting from the University of Colorado where she completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in a total of four years, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Prior to joining Raeden, she was a senior content strategist at Mathematica where she assisted with messaging and content for new technology products and she served as the marketing manager for Data Foundry, a regional colocation data center provider, where she planned, implemented, tracked, and adapted marketing campaigns to meet revenue goals.

Natalie holds a B.A. in international business from Texas State University and an M.A. in strategic communication from the University of Missouri’s J-School.

Blake Patterson is Director of Data Center Sales at Raeden. He has a decade of sales experience in the software and data center sectors with a unique focus on HPC and AI.

Prior to joining Raeden, Blake served as Director of Strategic Accounts at Netrality Data Centers, where he was responsible for enterprise and hyperscale revenue growth across Netrality’s national data center portfolio.

As part of Element Critical’s strategic accounts team, Blake was responsible for national growth with a local focus on a unique offering of DLC, immersion, and liquid-assisted cooling deployments for HPC and hyperscale end users.

Blake’s journey into the data center sector started in 2019, when his lifelong passion for building computers prompted the founding of CSP Mining, a GPU-based cryptocurrency mining business he built and operated until 2022.

Blake serves on the board of the 7×24 International South Texas chapter and holds a B.S. in Marketing from Clemson University.

Prior to joining USSH, John served as CFO and Partner at MacFarlane Partners, an institutional real estate advisor, and Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc. John has raised investment capital, developed new lines of business, restructured organizations, and developed and implemented strategic business initiatives. He began his career at KPMG and practiced as a CPA.
